Jacob's team won their game this afternoon, 60-56. It was their first game of the Classic tournament. They had a 22 point lead in the first half, and they had to hold on at the end. The other team had more energy and will than we did in the second half. We were almost coasting rather than playing our game. Our team scored 44 points in the first half, but only 16 in the second half.
Jacob had a steady game, but not a great game. He finished with 10 points and about 7 rebounds. He missed two short shorts at the end of the game that could helped with the span of victory. Thank goodness it did not cost the team.
Now, we move on to second round of the tournament tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. I hope my heart holds out! We are going to call them the cardiac kids.
Day has also been busy with making decisions about our house in Raleigh. We have to get it back on the market and of course that means getting it ready. Realtor is busy helping us take a look at things that need to be done. Hopefully, we will have some good news soon.
