Teresa and I have loved being in Hawaii. It has been like a second honeymoon. We have enjoyed the beaches, climbing Diamondhead Crater, visiting Pearl Harbor, seeing Dole Plantation, and on and on. We have just had a great time. Now we have to get back on the plane today.
What really concerns me though is that we have a move waiting on us when we get home. The people who we are leasing from insisted that they could not have the house available until August 1. Now, we have to leave Hawaii and get into the moving spirit.
Bryan and Jacob haave been really good about taking care of lots of things this week. Tom Stocks, a colleague at VBMB, is doing us a huge favor by coordinating the move. But we will get home tomorrow at 9:15 while the move is taking place.
Friends who have come back already have texted me how difficult jet lag has been for them coming home from Hawaii. Teresa is convinced I will be able to drink a five hour energy and be ready to go. What do you think? UGGHHH!
I am grateful for good friends who are helping us move.
Hi Ken,
Missed saying so long to you and thank you for everything that you shared with me. I've learned alot from you in your sermons and just in your conversations with others. I am doing well and will keep doing well with God in my life and listening to God like I should have always been before now. I am planning on returning to full time work again the first of December if God allows this for me and the doctors release me too! I am taking my medicine like I should and eating well and getting the proper rest and exercise. I am up a little later than expected tonight for some reason though. I think it's because I'm excited that we finally have a pastor and I helped with dinner since I'm not working. That was so much fun to help cook and serve. We kept the line moving pretty fast too! That really helped get the people through the line fast that has the little ones.
Hope you and the family are doing well. Please give my regards to Teresa and I hope all is well with her. I've lost touch since I've been out of touch myself.
Blessings to all,
Dottie
