June 6, 1968 was my tenth birthday. It is one of my most vivid childhood memories.

You mentioned Bobby Kennedy dying. That is what I remember of that day. Not the birthday.

When his funeral was held, I remember Teddy sharing the words:
"Some men see things as they are and say why.
I dream things that never were and say why not."

Those words have been a guiding light in my life.
